a word to welcome the new year

Dear friends of Premium and Prestige Observatory,

We are very excited about 2017 and our plans for more insightful research and good academic work. We are also happy for our accomplishments in 2016. The Observatory continued to deepen the knowledge into urban tourism. The focus on high value, the results’ precision driven from a rigorous methodology and the latest data will be of interest to all active players in the high-value travel ecosystem. Thanks to our experts and their rigorous work, expertise, and passion for the sector and to the panel of experts, who generously shared their insights into high-value city tourism and the barometer.

This work could be completed thanks to MasterCard who has supported IE Premium and Prestige Business Observatory since its launch in 2010.

With best wishes for this new year,

Maria Eugenia Girón
Executive Director
