a word to welcome the new year

Dear followers of the IE & Mastercard Premium and Prestige Business Observatory,

We are very excited about 2019 and our plans for more insightful research and good academic work. We are also happy for our accomplishments in 2018: the birth of our "Masters of Premium& Luxury" video series, our collaboration with Google for the "The Customer Journey of the Premium Traveler" study, and the new editions of both the IE Mastercard Luxury Barometer and the IE Mastercard Premium Travel Barometer.

We would like to thank the whole team, the experts, the interviewees, the collaborators from the alliances with Traveler Made, Luxury Education Foundation, and Travesias Media, and you, all our followers, for continuing to collaborate to generate and spread knowledge.

This work could be completed thanks to Mastercard who has supported IE Premium and Prestige Business Observatory since its launch in 2010.

With best wishes for the new year,

Maria Eugenia Girón
